We Bought a House!
I don’t want to go into detail toooo much about our new home, but we are movin! Off the farm and back to a walkable neighborhood on the east side… and I couldn’t be happier! The most exciting part is that while we don’t need to fix anything, we have decided to personalize the home to us, and we are starting with the floors and kitchen! So expect LOTS of home improvement updates here and on instagram.
Last week I started to rip up the carpet. And tomorrow the contractors start the kitchen reno! I have picked out all the appliances, tiles and lighting, but since this is my first time designing a kitchen, i am afraid it wont look great all put together. So we will see as we go! I am sooo excited to get over to the house early tomorrow morning and get it all started. It feels so good to be able to invest in a house that will be our dream home one day.

built in 1920… its almost 100 years old!
its set on 1/4 acre… just enough land to fill up with flower and veggie gardens this spring!
we can walk to the bus, movie theatre, a ton of bars and restaurants, my favorite coffee shop, a brand new library, and we will be close to the train!
